Central Saint Martins BA Final Project
sitting by the sun
This project is a deep dive into my experiences growing up in Phuket, Thailand, and the detachment I felt when I moved to London. This led me to explore how the sun and it's light affected me and my memories. Inspired by Man Ray and Moholy-Nagy's photograms of light photography, I created my own using mundane objects to mirror the sun's circular shapes.

Sunsets were the only thing that I didn’t take for granted before I moved to London.
I used to wake up just to see it rise,
and go back to sleep.
But sunsets were almost everyday - almost a ritual.
6.35pm, just before it went down.
I gave everything I felt to the sun and let it seep down in the horizon.
It made me feel calm.
